Georg Philipp Telemann,
arr. Christine D. Anderson and Daniel Kramlich

The Shadows of Bronze performs "Grazioso."

German composer Georg Philipp Telemann lived in the same era as Johann Sebastian Bach and Antonio Vivaldi and was a friend of George Frideric Handel.  Telemann’s style evolved as he explored different musicial styles during his frequent travels, and he held several important musical posts throughout his life.  He holds the world record for the most musical compositions written.  “Grazioso” is one of more than three thousand of his works, though many have been lost to time.

“Grazioso” is one of the earlier works that Christine D. Anderson arranged for handbell solo in partnership with Daniel Kramlich, and her edition of the piece maintains the original Baroque character.
